The match, part of Gameweek 32, saw both teams share the spoils in a game that was reflective of their mid-table standings. The match began with VfL Wolfsburg taking the lead in the 55th minute through Konstantinos Koulierakis (GAP +2.2%), who capitalized on a defensive lapse to put the visitors ahead. SC Freiburg, however, responded in the 75th minute when substitute Philipp Lienhart found the back of the net, leveling the score and ensuring the home side took a point from the encounter. In terms of tactical adjustments, SC Freiburg's manager made five changes during the match, bringing on Lukas Kübler, Igor Matanovic, Derry Scherhant, Nicolas Hofler, and Philipp Lienhart. These substitutions were pivotal, especially Lienhart's introduction, which directly influenced the outcome with his equalizing goal. VfL Wolfsburg also made five changes, with Yannick Gerhardt, Lovro Majer, Mattias Svanberg, Moritz Jenz, and Mohammed Amoura entering the fray, though their impact was less pronounced. From a performance perspective, Jan-Niklas Beste (GAP +3.8%) stood out for SC Freiburg, contributing significantly to their attacking efforts. Vincenzo Grifo (GAP +2.0%) also played a crucial role, providing creativity and flair in the midfield. For Wolfsburg, Christian Eriksen (GAP -2.3%) was expected to be a key figure, but his influence was somewhat muted by Freiburg's defensive setup. This result leaves both teams in a similar position in the Bundesliga table, with neither side able to make significant strides towards European qualification. SC Freiburg will be pleased with their resilience to come back from a goal down, while VfL Wolfsburg might rue missed opportunities to secure all three points. Overall, the draw reflects the competitive nature of the Bundesliga this season, with both teams showing moments of quality but ultimately unable to outdo each other. As the season nears its conclusion, both sides will look to finish strongly in their remaining fixtures.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
