Game Review
Arsenal delivered a commanding performance at the Emirates Stadium, securing a 3-0 victory over Fulham in their Premier League clash. This result was largely expected given Arsenal's strong form and Fulham's struggles this season. The Gunners took control early and never looked back, reinforcing their position in the upper echelons of the league table. The match began with Arsenal asserting their dominance, and it didn't take long for them to break the deadlock. Viktor Gyökeres (GAP +0.1%) opened the scoring in the 9th minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Gyökeres was on target again just before halftime, doubling Arsenal's lead in the 45th minute. Bukayo Saka (GAP +5.4%) added a third goal in the 40th minute, effectively sealing the win for the home side. In terms of tactical adjustments, Arsenal made five changes to their starting lineup compared to their previous match. Leandro Trossard (GAP +3.0%), Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyökeres, Riccardo Calafiori, and Myles Lewis-Skelly were brought into the starting eleven, replacing Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke, Martín Zubimendi, and Piero Hincapié. These changes seemed to pay off, particularly with Gyökeres' impactful performance. Fulham, on the other hand, made two changes, with Harrison Reed (GAP +0.5%) and Antonee Robinson (GAP -0.5%) coming in for Ryan Sessegnon and Sander Berge. Despite these adjustments, Fulham struggled to contain Arsenal's attacking prowess and failed to create significant chances of their own. David Raya (GAP +5.2%) was solid in goal for Arsenal, ensuring a clean sheet with some crucial saves, while Gabriel Magalhães (GAP +6.5%) was a rock in defense, contributing to Arsenal's overall stability at the back. This victory keeps Arsenal in the hunt for a top-four finish, bolstering their confidence as they approach the final stretch of the season. Fulham, meanwhile, remain in a precarious position, needing to find form quickly to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle. Post-match, the Arsenal manager praised his team's performance, highlighting their clinical finishing and defensive solidity as key factors in the win. Fulham's head coach acknowledged the need for improvement, particularly in their defensive organization and attacking efficiency.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
