Game Review
Liverpool secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fulham in their Premier League clash at Anfield, a result that was largely anticipated given Liverpool's strong form and Fulham's struggles this season. The home side dominated proceedings, with goals from Mohamed Salah (GAP +2.9%) and Rio Ngumoha setting the tone for a commanding performance. The match saw Liverpool make four changes to their lineup, with Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, Curtis Jones, and Rio Ngumoha coming in. These changes were strategic, as Liverpool looked to maintain their momentum in the league. Fulham, on the other hand, fielded an unchanged lineup, which perhaps reflected their limited options due to injuries and suspensions. The first half was tightly contested until the 36th minute when Rio Ngumoha broke the deadlock, giving Liverpool the lead. Just four minutes later, Mohamed Salah doubled the advantage, capitalizing on Fulham's defensive lapses. Salah's performance was instrumental, and his contribution was reflected in his high Game Advantage Percentage. Defensively, Liverpool were solid, with Ibrahima Konate (GAP +4.5%) and Virgil van Dijk (GAP +3.5%) effectively nullifying Fulham's attacking threats. Fulham's Bernd Leno (GAP +1.4%) was kept busy throughout the match, making several crucial saves to prevent a larger scoreline. Post-match reactions highlighted Liverpool's tactical discipline and the effectiveness of their attacking transitions. The result sees Liverpool solidify their position in the top four, while Fulham remain perilously close to the relegation zone, needing to find form quickly to avoid the drop. Overall, this match underscored Liverpool's superiority and tactical acumen, while Fulham will need to regroup and address their defensive frailties to improve their league standing.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
