Game Review
FC Bayern München secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday, 14 February 2026. The result was largely expected given Bayern's superior form and squad depth, and it was Harry Kane (GAP +10.6%) who stole the show with a first-half brace that set the tone for the match. The game began with Bayern asserting their dominance early on. Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Werder Bremen. Just three minutes later, Kane doubled Bayern's lead, showcasing his clinical finishing ability. Werder Bremen struggled to contain Bayern's attacking prowess, and the visitors maintained control throughout the first half. In the second half, Bayern continued to press, and Leon Goretzka (GAP +3.5%) added a third goal in the 70th minute, effectively sealing the victory. Bayern's midfield, orchestrated by Joshua Kimmich (GAP +9.2%), was instrumental in maintaining possession and dictating the tempo of the game. Werder Bremen's lineup saw several changes, with Samuel Mbangula, Patrice Čović, Isaac Schmidt, Yukinari Sugawara, and Julián Malatini coming off the bench. However, these changes were unable to alter the course of the match. Bayern also made tactical substitutions, bringing on Jamal Musiala, Nicolas Jackson, Jonas Urbig, Tom Bischof, and Alphonso Davies to maintain their dominance. The result leaves Bayern München in a strong position as they continue their pursuit of the Bundesliga title. Werder Bremen, on the other hand, will need to regroup and address their defensive vulnerabilities as they look to improve their standing in the league. Post-match reactions highlighted Harry Kane's performance as a key factor in Bayern's victory. The win reinforces Bayern's status as title contenders, while Werder Bremen will need to find solutions to climb the Bundesliga table.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
