Game Review
Bayer 04 Leverkusen secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday, a result that was largely expected given their superior form coming into the match. Leverkusen's tactical discipline and clinical finishing were on full display, as they capitalized on key moments to maintain their momentum in the league. The match began with Bayer Leverkusen asserting their dominance early on. Arthur (GAP +1.1%) opened the scoring in the 26th minute, setting the tone for the visitors. Malik Tillman (GAP +1.3%) doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, showcasing Leverkusen's attacking prowess. Eintracht Frankfurt managed to pull one back shortly after halftime, with Robin Koch (GAP +2.4%) finding the net in the 50th minute, offering a glimmer of hope for the home side. However, the turning point came in the 70th minute when Ellyes Skhiri (GAP +1.5%) received a red card, leaving Frankfurt with ten men and severely hampering their chances of a comeback. Leverkusen capitalized on the numerical advantage, with Aleix García (GAP +2.0%) sealing the victory with a goal in the 90th minute. Tactically, Leverkusen's manager made no changes to the starting lineup from their previous match, indicating confidence in his squad's ability to deliver. On the other hand, Eintracht Frankfurt's manager also opted for consistency, fielding the same starting eleven. Key performances from Alex Grimaldo (GAP +6.0%) and Robert Andrich (GAP +4.8%) were instrumental in Leverkusen's midfield dominance, while Edmond Tapsoba (GAP +4.8%) provided stability at the back. This victory keeps Bayer Leverkusen firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish, bolstering their position in the Bundesliga standings. For Eintracht Frankfurt, the defeat highlights the need for tactical adjustments as they aim to improve their league form in the coming weeks.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
