Game Review
In a highly anticipated Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Arsenal delivered a commanding performance to secure a 4-1 victory over their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. This result was somewhat unexpected given Tottenham's home advantage, but Arsenal's recent form suggested they were capable of such a display. The match began with Arsenal asserting their dominance early on. Eberechi Eze (GAP +2.6%) opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, showcasing his clinical finishing ability. Tottenham responded quickly, with Randal Kolo Muani (GAP -3.6%) equalizing just two minutes later, giving the home fans a brief moment of hope. However, Arsenal's tactical superiority became evident in the second half. Viktor Gyökeres (GAP +3.3%) put Arsenal ahead again in the 47th minute, and Eze added his second goal in the 61st minute, effectively sealing the game. Gyökeres capped off a brilliant team performance with his second goal in the 90th minute, leaving Tottenham with no chance of a comeback. Arsenal's lineup saw two changes from their previous match, with Leandro Trossard (GAP +4.4%) and Eberechi Eze coming in for Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke. These changes paid dividends, as both Trossard and Eze played pivotal roles in the victory. On the other hand, Tottenham also made two changes, bringing in Joao Palhinha (GAP +0.6%) and Randal Kolo Muani, while Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert were left out. Defensively, Arsenal were solid, with Gabriel Magalhães (GAP +7.0%) and William Saliba (GAP +6.8%) providing a strong backbone that Tottenham struggled to break down. The away side's ability to control the midfield, led by Declan Rice (GAP +4.8%), was crucial in dictating the pace of the game. This victory propels Arsenal further up the Premier League table, enhancing their chances of securing a top-four finish. For Tottenham, the defeat is a setback, and they will need to regroup quickly to maintain their position in the upper half of the table. The result highlights Arsenal's growing confidence and tactical acumen under their current head coach, while Tottenham will need to address their defensive frailties to bounce back in the coming fixtures.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
