Game Review
In a tightly contested Serie A encounter, Napoli edged past Lecce with a 2-1 victory at home. This result was largely expected given Napoli's superior position in the league standings and their recent form, which saw them entering the match with a string of positive performances. The game began with an unexpected twist as Lecce took an early lead through Jamil Siebert (GAP -3.0%) in the 3rd minute. This early goal set the tone for a competitive first half, with Lecce showing resilience and tactical discipline. However, Napoli responded strongly after the break, with Rasmus Højlund (GAP +0.1%) leveling the score just after halftime in the 46th minute. The decisive moment came in the 67th minute when Matteo Politano (GAP +3.1%) found the back of the net, securing the win for Napoli. Napoli's manager made strategic substitutions, bringing on experienced players like Kevin De Bruyne and Scott McTominay to maintain control in midfield. These changes proved effective as Napoli dominated possession and limited Lecce's chances in the latter stages of the match. From a tactical standpoint, Napoli's ability to adapt and respond to Lecce's early aggression was crucial. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (GAP +3.8%) played a pivotal role in midfield, breaking up play and distributing the ball efficiently. Alex Meret (GAP +4.3%) was also instrumental in goal, making key saves to keep Napoli in the game. For Lecce, despite the loss, there were positives to take from their performance. Wladimiro Falcone (GAP -0.9%) was solid in goal, making several important saves to keep his team in contention. This victory helps Napoli solidify their position in the upper echelons of the Serie A table, maintaining their push for European qualification. Lecce, on the other hand, will need to regroup and focus on their upcoming fixtures to avoid slipping further down the standings.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
