Game Review
In a thrilling Serie A encounter, Atalanta edged out AC Milan with a 3-2 victory at the San Siro. This result was somewhat unexpected given AC Milan's strong home form, but Atalanta's tactical execution and clinical finishing made the difference. The match started with Atalanta taking an early lead through Éderson in the 7th minute, setting the tone for a high-paced game. Davide Zappacosta doubled the visitors' advantage in the 29th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Milan. AC Milan struggled to find their rhythm in the first half, unable to break down Atalanta's organized defense. After the break, Atalanta extended their lead further when Giacomo Raspadori found the net in the 52nd minute. This goal seemed to galvanize AC Milan, who responded with a late surge. Strahinja Pavlović pulled one back in the 88th minute, and Christopher Nkunku added another in the 90th minute, but it was too little too late for the Rossoneri. Tactically, Atalanta's head coach made effective use of his substitutes, with Raoul Bellanova and Mario Pasalic coming on to provide fresh legs and maintain their defensive solidity. AC Milan's manager also made several changes, introducing Christopher Nkunku, Youssouf Fofana, and others to inject energy into the team, but the early deficit proved insurmountable. This victory propels Atalanta further up the Serie A table, enhancing their chances of securing a European spot. Meanwhile, AC Milan will need to regroup quickly as they aim to solidify their position in the top four. The result highlights Atalanta's resilience and ability to perform under pressure, while AC Milan will be reflecting on their slow start and defensive vulnerabilities.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
