Game Review
AC Milan secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Pisa in their Serie A clash on Friday, 13 February 2026. The match, held at Pisa's home ground, saw Milan edge out their opponents with a late goal, maintaining their pursuit of a top-four finish. The game began with AC Milan taking control, and they were rewarded in the 39th minute when Ruben Loftus-Cheek (GAP +2.7%) found the back of the net, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead. Pisa, however, showed resilience and equalized in the 71st minute through Felipe Loyola, setting up a tense finale. Luka Modric (GAP +4.5%) proved to be the difference-maker for Milan, scoring the decisive goal in the 85th minute. His experience and composure were evident as he guided his team to victory. The match ended on a sour note for Milan as Adrien Rabiot (GAP +4.5%) received a red card in the 90th minute, which could impact their squad depth in upcoming fixtures. Tactically, AC Milan's manager made several changes to the lineup, bringing in Rafael Leão, Koni De Winter, Niclas Fullkrug, Samuele Ricci, and Christian Pulisic as substitutes. These changes injected fresh energy into the team, particularly in the latter stages of the match. Pisa also made substitutions, including Ebenezer Ajodun Akinsanmiro and Samuel Iling-Junior, but they were unable to alter the outcome. Fikayo Tomori (GAP +5.5%) was a standout performer in defense for Milan, effectively neutralizing Pisa's attacking threats. Meanwhile, Pisa's Antonio Caracciolo (GAP -1.0%) struggled to contain Milan's forwards, which was reflected in the final scoreline. This victory keeps AC Milan firmly in the hunt for European qualification, while Pisa will need to regroup as they aim to climb the Serie A table. The result was largely expected given Milan's superior form and squad depth, but Pisa's spirited performance suggests they can challenge teams higher up the table. Looking ahead, Milan will need to address the absence of Rabiot in their next match, while Pisa will focus on converting their fighting spirit into points as the season progresses.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
