Game Review
In a tightly contested Serie A encounter, Hellas Verona and Pisa played out a goalless draw on Friday, 6 February 2026. The match, held as part of Gameweek 24, saw both teams struggle to break the deadlock, resulting in a 0-0 stalemate. Given the pre-match expectations, this result was not entirely surprising, as both sides have shown inconsistent form throughout the season. The game saw few clear-cut chances, with both defenses holding firm. Hellas Verona's Antoine Bernède (GAP -3.8%) and Pisa's Simone Scuffet (GAP -1.0%) were instrumental in maintaining their respective clean sheets. Bernède's ability to disrupt Pisa's midfield play was crucial, while Scuffet made several key saves to deny Verona's forwards. Tactically, both teams set up with a focus on defensive solidity. Verona's manager opted for a lineup that included key players like Lorenzo Montipò (GAP -3.5%) and Victor Nelsson (GAP -2.2%), who were pivotal in keeping Pisa at bay. Pisa's lineup featured Antonio Caracciolo (GAP -0.7%) and Stefano Moreo (GAP -2.0%), both of whom contributed to a disciplined defensive performance. The managers made several substitutions in an attempt to change the game's dynamics. Hellas Verona introduced Suat Serdar, Pol Lirola, Domagoj Bradarić, Abdoulrahmane Harroui, and Daniel Mosquera, while Pisa brought on Henrik Wendel Meister, Marius Marin, Arturo Calabresi, and Mehdi Léris. Despite these changes, neither side could find the breakthrough. This draw leaves Hellas Verona and Pisa in a precarious position in the Serie A standings, with both teams needing to find form to climb the table. Verona will be looking to capitalize on their defensive strengths in upcoming matches, while Pisa will aim to convert their solid defensive displays into wins. Post-match reactions highlighted the defensive resilience of both teams, with fans and analysts noting the lack of attacking flair as a key area for improvement. As the season progresses, both teams will need to address their offensive shortcomings to secure better results.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
