Game Review
Juventus delivered a commanding performance in their Serie A clash against Parma, securing a 4-1 victory that reinforced their status as one of the league's top contenders. The match, held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, saw Juventus dominate from the outset, with Bremer opening the scoring in the 15th minute. This early goal set the tone for the Bianconeri, who were expected to win given their superior form and squad depth. The first half was largely controlled by Juventus, who doubled their lead in the 37th minute through Weston McKennie. Parma managed to pull one back shortly after the break, with Andrea Cambiaso finding the net in the 51st minute, giving the home fans a glimmer of hope. However, this was short-lived as Bremer struck again in the 54th minute, restoring Juventus' two-goal cushion. Jonathan David added a fourth for Juventus in the 64th minute, effectively sealing the victory. The away side's tactical setup allowed them to exploit Parma's defensive vulnerabilities, with their attacking players finding ample space to operate. Juventus made five substitutions during the match, bringing in Juan Cabal, Federico Gatti, Loïs Openda, Filip Kostic, and Fabio Miretti, which provided fresh legs and maintained their high tempo. Parma, on the other hand, introduced Oliver Sørensen, Sascha Britschgi, Nesta Elphege, and Nahuell Estévez in an attempt to change the game's dynamics, but these changes did not yield the desired effect. This result leaves Juventus in a strong position as they continue their pursuit of the Serie A title. For Parma, the defeat highlights the challenges they face in climbing the league table, as they struggle to find consistency in their performances. Juventus' victory underscores their tactical prowess and depth, crucial elements as they aim to maintain momentum in the coming weeks.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
