Game Review
Fulham secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Burnley in their Premier League clash at Craven Cottage. The result was a testament to Fulham's growing form, as they capitalized on key moments to secure all three points. This outcome was somewhat expected given Fulham's recent performances, while Burnley struggled to find consistency. The match began with both teams probing for opportunities, but it was Burnley who struck first in the 60th minute through Zian Flemming (GAP -0.0%), giving them a brief lead. However, Fulham responded swiftly, with Joshua King (GAP -1.3%) equalizing in the 67th minute. The momentum shifted decisively in Fulham's favor when Harry Wilson (GAP +1.6%) put them ahead in the 73rd minute. Raúl Jiménez sealed the victory with a late goal in the 90th minute, capping off a well-rounded performance by the home side. Fulham's manager made two changes to the lineup, bringing in Timothy Castagne and Rodrigo Muniz, while Kenny Tete and Raúl Jiménez were left out. The reasons for these changes were not explicitly stated, but they seemed to work in Fulham's favor as they controlled the game effectively. Burnley, on the other hand, fielded an unchanged lineup, which might have contributed to their lack of adaptability during the match. The game was not without its disciplinary issues, as Burnley's Josh Laurent received a red card in the 90th minute, further compounding their woes. In terms of individual performances, Bernd Leno (GAP +1.4%) and Joachim Andersen (GAP +1.4%) were instrumental in maintaining Fulham's defensive solidity, while Harry Wilson's attacking prowess was crucial in turning the game around. This victory boosts Fulham's position in the league, providing them with valuable momentum as they look to climb the table. For Burnley, the defeat highlights the need for tactical adjustments and improved consistency if they are to avoid slipping further down the standings.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
