Game Review
In a tightly contested Serie A match, Como and Napoli played out a goalless draw on Saturday, 2 May 2026. The result was somewhat surprising given Napoli's status as one of the stronger teams in the league, but Como's resilient performance ensured they shared the spoils. The game saw few clear-cut chances, with both teams struggling to break down each other's defenses. Napoli, featuring key players like Kevin De Bruyne (GAP +7.9%) and Amir Rrahmani (GAP +6.5%), were expected to dominate proceedings. However, Como's defensive setup, anchored by Jean Butez (GAP +4.8%) in goal, proved difficult to penetrate. Napoli's manager made two substitutions during the match, bringing on Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Leonardo Spinazzola to inject fresh energy into the side. Como, on the other hand, utilized all five of their substitutes, including Álvaro Morata and Sergi Roberto, in an attempt to find a breakthrough. The standout performances came from Napoli's Kevin De Bruyne, who was instrumental in their midfield play, and Como's Jean Butez, whose saves were crucial in maintaining the clean sheet. Despite the lack of goals, the match was a tactical battle, with both sides showing discipline and organization. This draw leaves Napoli in a challenging position as they aim to secure a top-four finish. Meanwhile, Como will be pleased with the point, which helps them in their quest to climb the Serie A table. Both teams will need to capitalize on their upcoming fixtures to improve their standings as the season nears its conclusion.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
