Game Review
In a La Liga clash that ended in a goalless draw, Getafe and Celta Vigo shared the spoils at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Sunday. The match, part of Gameweek 22, saw both teams struggle to find the back of the net, resulting in a 0-0 stalemate. The game was characterized by a lack of clear-cut chances, with neither side able to break the deadlock. Despite the absence of goals, the match was a tactical battle, with both teams maintaining a disciplined defensive structure. Getafe and Celta Vigo both fielded unchanged lineups from their previous matches, indicating a level of consistency in their approach. Pre-match expectations suggested a closely contested affair, and the result was not entirely surprising given the form of both teams. Getafe, who have been solid at home, were unable to capitalize on their home advantage, while Celta Vigo managed to hold their ground away from home. Without any standout individual performances or major incidents to sway the game, the match was largely a midfield tussle. The lack of substitutions from either side indicated a cautious approach from both managers, possibly reflecting satisfaction with a point each. This result leaves Getafe and Celta Vigo in a similar position in the La Liga table, with both teams needing to find more attacking impetus in future matches to climb higher. The draw does little to change their standings significantly, but it does provide a platform to build upon as they look to improve their league form in the coming weeks.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
