The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, with both teams exchanging blows before Levante ultimately emerged victorious. This result was somewhat expected given Levante's home advantage, but the narrow margin highlighted Elche's resilience. The game began with Elche taking an early lead through Álvaro Rodríguez (GAP -2.2%) in the 11th minute, setting the tone for a competitive encounter. Levante responded in the second half with Pablo Martínez (GAP +0.1%) equalizing in the 50th minute. The momentum shifted further in Levante's favor when Adrián de la Fuente (GAP -1.0%) put them ahead in the 68th minute. Levante seemed to have sealed the win when Alan Matturro (GAP -1.0%) scored in the 90th minute, but Elche's Adam Boayar struck back almost immediately, making for a tense finish. Despite Elche's late goal, Levante held on to claim all three points. In terms of tactical adjustments, Levante's manager made three substitutions, bringing in Paco Cortés, Carlos Espí, and Jon Ander Olasagasti to refresh the squad. Elche also made four changes, introducing Rodrigo Mendoza, André Silva, Josan, and Adam Boayar, who made an immediate impact with his late goal. Key players for Levante included Pablo Martínez, whose goal was crucial in turning the tide, and Mathew Ryan, who provided stability at the back. For Elche, Álvaro Rodríguez's early goal and Adam Boayar's late strike were highlights, although they ultimately fell short. This victory helps Levante maintain their mid-table position, providing a boost in confidence as they look to climb further up the standings. Elche, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly to avoid slipping into the relegation battle. Overall, the match was a testament to Levante's attacking prowess and resilience, while Elche will take some positives from their fighting spirit and ability to challenge until the final whistle.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
