Game Review
In a crucial Serie A encounter, Udinese secured a 2-0 victory over Torino, a result that might not have been entirely unexpected given the teams' recent form and standings. Udinese, playing at home, capitalized on their opportunities effectively, with goals from Kingsley Ehizibue (GAP +0.5%) and Thomas Kristensen (GAP +1.9%) sealing the win. The match began with both teams probing for weaknesses, but it was Udinese who broke the deadlock just before halftime. Kingsley Ehizibue found the back of the net in the 45th minute, giving the home side a crucial lead. This goal was a significant boost for Udinese, setting the tone for the second half. Shortly after the break, Thomas Kristensen doubled Udinese's advantage in the 51st minute, effectively putting the game out of Torino's reach. Kristensen's performance was pivotal, as his contribution not only extended the lead but also showcased his growing influence in the midfield. Tactically, Udinese's manager made no changes to the starting lineup from their previous match, indicating confidence in his squad's current form. On the other hand, Torino's head coach opted for a few changes, bringing in players like Emirhan İlkhan (GAP -5.3%) and Cesare Casadei (GAP -1.6%) to freshen up the squad. However, these adjustments did not yield the desired results, as Torino struggled to break down a resolute Udinese defense. The Game Advantage Percentage (GAP) data highlights the impact of key players, with Thomas Kristensen and Kingsley Ehizibue standing out for Udinese. In contrast, Torino's Emirhan İlkhan had a challenging game, reflected in his negative GAP. This victory is a significant boost for Udinese as they continue to climb the Serie A table, enhancing their chances of a strong finish to the season. For Torino, the defeat is a setback, and they will need to regroup quickly to avoid slipping further down the standings as the season draws to a close.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
