Game Review
In a Serie A clash on Monday, Udinese secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi. This result was somewhat expected given Udinese's recent form and league position, as they have been performing consistently well in recent weeks. The match began with Udinese taking control early on. Arthur Atta (GAP -1.8%) opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, setting the tone for the visitors. Hellas Verona responded quickly, with Gift Orban (GAP -1.8%) equalizing just three minutes later, showcasing his knack for finding the back of the net. However, Udinese regained their lead in the second half when Alessandro Zanoli (GAP -0.1%) scored in the 58th minute. Keinan Davis (GAP -0.8%) then sealed the victory for Udinese with a goal in the 67th minute, capping off a well-executed team performance. Tactically, Udinese's head coach made no changes to the starting lineup from their previous match, indicating confidence in his squad's current form. On the other hand, Hellas Verona's manager also opted for consistency, fielding the same starting eleven as in their last outing. The lack of changes from both sides suggested a belief in their respective strategies, although Udinese's approach proved more effective on the day. In terms of individual performances, Arthur Atta and Keinan Davis were instrumental for Udinese, both finding the net and contributing significantly to their team's attacking play. For Hellas Verona, Gift Orban's goal was a highlight, but the team struggled to maintain momentum against a disciplined Udinese side. This victory strengthens Udinese's position in the Serie A standings, as they continue to push for a higher finish. Hellas Verona, meanwhile, will need to regroup and address their defensive vulnerabilities if they are to improve their league position in the coming weeks.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
