Game Review
In a tightly contested Serie A encounter, Udinese and Como played out a goalless draw on Monday, 6 April 2026. The result, while perhaps not surprising given the evenly matched nature of both teams, leaves both sides with mixed feelings as they continue their campaigns in the Italian top flight. The match was characterized by a lack of clear-cut chances, with both defenses holding firm throughout the 90 minutes. Como's goalkeeper, Jean Butez (GAP +4.4%), was instrumental in keeping Udinese at bay, making several crucial saves that highlighted his importance to the team. On the defensive end, Marc-Oliver Kempf (GAP +2.9%) and Diego Carlos (GAP +2.8%) were solid for Como, ensuring that Udinese's attacking threats were neutralized. For Udinese, Christian Kabasele (GAP +0.6%) and Oumar Solet (GAP +0.5%) were key in maintaining a clean sheet, effectively dealing with the sporadic threats posed by Como's forwards. Nicolò Zaniolo (GAP +0.9%) tried to inject creativity into Udinese's play but found it difficult to break down a well-organized Como defense. Both teams made several substitutions in an attempt to change the game's dynamics. Udinese introduced Nicolò Bertola, Juan Arizala Micolta, Oier Zarraga, Idrissa Gueye, and Lennon Miller, while Como brought on Martin Baturina, Mërgim Vojvoda, Sergi Roberto, Álvaro Morata, and Ignace Van der Brempt. However, these changes did not significantly alter the flow of the match. The result leaves Udinese and Como in a similar position in the Serie A standings, with both teams needing to find more consistency in their performances to climb the table. As the season progresses, both sides will be looking to convert such draws into victories to improve their league positions and achieve their respective goals. Post-match reactions from both camps emphasized the need for improvement in the attacking third, with both managers acknowledging the defensive solidity but expressing a desire for more creativity and cutting edge in future matches.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
