Game Review
Levante secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Getafe in a tightly contested La Liga match on Monday, 13 April 2026. The game was decided by a late goal from Carlos Espí, who found the net in the 83rd minute. This result was somewhat unexpected given the pre-match odds, which slightly favored Getafe due to their higher league position and recent form. The match was marked by a significant disciplinary incident early on, as Carlos Espí (GAP -0.0%) received a red card in the 10th minute, leaving Levante to play with ten men for the majority of the game. Despite this setback, Levante managed to hold their ground defensively and eventually capitalized on a rare opportunity to score. Getafe struggled to break down Levante's resolute defense, despite having a numerical advantage. Their efforts were further hampered by a red card for Zaid Romero (GAP -0.0%) in the 90th minute, which nullified their advantage and ended any hopes of a late comeback. In terms of tactical adjustments, Levante's manager made five substitutions, bringing in Carlos Álvarez, Víctor García, Alan Matturro, Kervin Arriaga, and Etta Eyong to freshen up the squad. Getafe also made five changes, introducing Abu Kamara, Sebastián Boselli, Davinchi, Mario Martín, and Veljko Birmančević, but these changes failed to alter the course of the match. Martín Satriano (GAP +4.5%) was a standout performer for Getafe, showing flashes of creativity and skill, but ultimately his efforts were not enough to break the deadlock. On the other hand, Matías Moreno (GAP +1.9%) played a crucial role for Levante, contributing significantly to their defensive solidity. This victory is a crucial boost for Levante as they look to climb the La Liga table. For Getafe, this defeat is a setback in their pursuit of a higher league finish, and they will need to regroup quickly to maintain their position. Overall, the match was a testament to Levante's resilience and ability to capitalize on key moments, while Getafe will be left to ponder what might have been had they made better use of their numerical advantage.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
