Game Review
In an engaging Premier League encounter at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth and Manchester United played out a 2-2 draw. The result was somewhat unexpected given Manchester United's higher league standing and recent form, but Bournemouth's resilience shone through. The match began with Manchester United taking control, and they were rewarded in the 61st minute when Bruno Fernandes (GAP +2.5%) found the back of the net. However, Bournemouth quickly responded with Ryan Christie (GAP +1.7%) equalizing in the 67th minute. Manchester United regained the lead through James Hill (GAP +1.5%) in the 71st minute, but Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi, who came on as a substitute, secured a point for the home side with a goal in the 81st minute. A significant turning point in the match was the red card shown to Harry Maguire (GAP +1.7%) in the 78th minute, which left Manchester United to defend their lead with ten men. This numerical disadvantage allowed Bournemouth to press forward and eventually find the equalizer. Tactically, Manchester United made no changes to their starting lineup compared to their previous match, maintaining consistency in their approach. Bournemouth, on the other hand, made two changes, bringing in Amine Adli and Álex Jiménez, while Adam Smith and Eli Junior Kroupi were left out of the starting eleven. These changes were part of a strategic rotation by the Bournemouth manager. Key performances included Senne Lammens (GAP +4.7%), who was instrumental in goal for Manchester United, and Bryan Mbeumo (GAP +4.4%), whose attacking prowess was evident throughout the match. This draw leaves Manchester United still in contention for a top-four finish, but they will need to address their defensive discipline to avoid dropping crucial points. Bournemouth, meanwhile, can take confidence from their ability to compete against one of the league's stronger sides, potentially boosting their chances of climbing the table in the remaining fixtures.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
