Game Review
Juventus delivered a commanding performance in their Serie A clash against Napoli, securing a 3-0 victory that underscored their growing momentum in the league. The result was somewhat expected given Juventus' recent form, but the margin of victory highlighted their dominance on the day. The match began with Juventus asserting their control early on. Jonathan David (GAP +0.6%) opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match. His goal was a testament to his sharpness and ability to capitalize on defensive lapses. As the game progressed, Juventus continued to press, with Kenan Yıldız (GAP +4.9%) doubling their lead in the 77th minute. Yıldız's performance was particularly noteworthy, as he not only contributed to the scoreline but also played a crucial role in Juventus' midfield dominance. Filip Kostic, who came on as a substitute, sealed the victory with a goal in the 86th minute, showcasing the depth and versatility of the Juventus squad. The home side's tactical setup allowed them to control the midfield, with Manuel Locatelli (GAP +2.4%) and Weston McKennie (GAP +3.6%) effectively neutralizing Napoli's attempts to build momentum. Napoli, on the other hand, struggled to find their rhythm. Despite having players like Stanislav Lobotka (GAP +3.7%) and Giovanni Di Lorenzo (GAP +4.1%) in their ranks, they were unable to break through Juventus' solid defensive setup led by Bremer (GAP +4.2%). The away team's head coach made three substitutions, bringing in Giovane, Sam Beukema, and Romelu Lukaku, but these changes failed to alter the course of the game. This victory propels Juventus further up the Serie A table, reinforcing their status as serious contenders for a top-four finish. For Napoli, the defeat serves as a wake-up call, highlighting areas that need improvement if they are to maintain their position in the upper echelons of the league. Overall, Juventus' tactical discipline and clinical finishing were the key factors in their comprehensive win, leaving Napoli with much to ponder as they look to bounce back in their next fixture.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
